There are a few options available to you when and even before you make your journey. One option which I’ve used is to pre-book through your local cab company. I traveled to Canada from Nevada City California to Sacramento International Airport and didn’t fancy taking my chances outside trying to hail a cab or waiting for one to appear outside. Lastly, when you’re at the airport, there’s a high possibility that local companies have put up posters advertising their services, these may have prices to local towns or cities with costs and the number on it too. In some airports, you may find a taxi stand or a phone which will go directly to them.
